Maharashtra's Shinde government, after enticing women voters, has now introduced a locally-loved scheme for youth. Named the Ladla Bhai Yojana, this new initiative aims to support young men. Under this scheme, youth who have completed 12th grade but are unemployed will receive Rs. 6,000 per month. Additionally, diploma holders will get Rs. 8,000 per month, and graduate students will receive Rs. 10,000 per month.
Announcing this scheme, CM Eknath Shinde stated that the government plans to provide financial support to youth for apprenticeships in factories where they will work. He emphasized that the scheme does not distinguish between boys and girls. He also noted that this is the first time in history such a scheme has been launched, solving unemployment issues effectively.
